About The Filter
Analyzer |
Step 1: Select the image file you wish to analyze and click on the Analyze Picture button. The image analysis should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 2: Once finished with the analysis, the filter analyzer finds the optimal rotation angle for your filter and shows you the features on the filter image that are
potential clones to detect. As you can see there may be many potential false positives due to the overlap of some features with neighboring feature. This
problem is resolved in the next steps when the grid for your filter is resolved.
Step 3: Click on the set origins button and successively set the vertical then horizontal axis that define the lower right corner of the first panel on the filter. It may
sometimes be difficult to find this position, but it can be reliably found by counting 24 columns and 16 rows of squares from the upper left corner of the filter. Another
method is to try and detect the small increase in squares' spacing caused by the separation between the two panels.
Step 4: Set the filter number that you are analyzing in the set.
Step 5: Click on the Analyze Pairs button. At this step the position of the panels is optimized based on the position of the previously found clone reporters, which results in a
perfect alignment of the grid.
6. Manually adding or removing clone calls to the filter analyzer is also possible using the right mouse button in the eventuality that some clones did not get called automatically or some false positive calls have not been successfully erased.
7. different view options are selectable from the view settings tab.
