To
minimize the shipping cost to you, BACPAC Resources Center
recommends that you provide us with your institution's
shipping account; otherwise we will add shipping cost
where applicable, but at a slightly higher fee due to
overhead charges. For example:
Note:
For large order, additional shipping cost may be
applied.
International:
$65+ depending on country.
For
international shipment of large orders, we also recommend
World
Courier to avoid long delays or losses due to Customs
regulations and procedures in the recipient's country.
The recipient must make arrangement with World Courier,
then provide BACPAC with the courier job number and broker's
name and phone number.
BACPAC
Resoures Center cannot share the financial responsibility
for delays or losses at the borders, or at any point
during mailing.
| How
Long will it take to receive your order |
Once
you have submitted your order, please check your account
regularly and track the status of your order. You can
follow the progress of your package using the tracking
number that will be provided online for your order upon
its shipment.
Individual
BAC/PAC clones:
We attempt to get all orders shipped to you within 2-3 days
after you've submitted the order. Orders submitted
after 2:00PM Pacific Time on weekdays will be considered
the following day. Clone orders received late in the week
will not go out until early the following week. Occasionally
this schedule will be delayed due to Holidays or the volume
of orders we receive.
Individual
fosmid clones: Due to time requirements of offsite
retrieval and phage
testing, fosmid clones take longer to process then
regular BAC/PAC clones. We attempt to ship fosmid orders
to you within 2-3 weeks after you've submitted the order.
Filter
Sets: We attempt to get the order out to you
on the same day if we receive it prior to 1:00PM Pacific
Time weekdays. Occasionally,
we run out of inventory of filters and it may take up
to a few weeks. In cases where filter sets are
backordered, we will indicate the expected delivery date
via email.
Library
Plate Collections: Shipment of entire library
plate collections will be coordinated with the recipient
as to a mutually acceptable shipment date. Orders
are all subject to library availability. We do assemble
waiting lists for libraries that are out of stock and
awaiting replication.
